Turning Grief Into Action: Running to Beat Cancer

Cancer has touched my life in heartbreaking ways. When I was 15, I lost my godmother—a remarkable woman who embodied love, kindness, and wisdom. In March 2024, I faced another devastating loss: my grandfather. More than just my grandad. His strength and support shaped my childhood, leaving me with memories I’ll cherish forever.

I am always looking for ways to honor their memory, and on the 23rd of February, I’ll be running the 2025 Cancer Research UK London Winter Run. This run is my way of paying tribute to their lives and taking a stand against the disease that has impacted so many families, including my own.

By supporting Cancer Research UK (CRUK), I hope to turn grief into action and help build a future where fewer families experience this pain.
