What this means to me.
Many of us have experienced losing a loved one to cancer. To say it's an awful disease would be an understatement. Not only is it hellish for the patient, but it also takes a toll on everyone close to them. It's a disease where the path to recovery takes a really long time. There are good days and bad days along the way, filled with hope and disappointment in equal parts.
I had an older brother who passed away due to brain cancer. It was roughly two years between the time of his diagnosis and his passing. Those two years, and the years following, were some of the hardest days for me and my family. However, one thing I will cherish forever is how my brother didn't stop fighting until the very end.
So, in his loving memory, I am doing this fundraiser and partaking in this run.
I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2025.
Please donate to my page to help me raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK and support me as I train for a 10k on 23rd February 2025.
Nearly 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime*. All of us can support the research that will beat it.
Thank you for supporting me! Together we are beating cancer.
