I’m embarking on a deeply personal journey with the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2025, inspired by my dear friend, first mentor, and remarkable colleague, Neil. He has faced life’s toughest challenges with unwavering courage, and now, as he confronts a terminal diagnosis, I'm lacing up my shoes in his honor—to run, to remember, and to raise funds so that others might have a future without cancer.

Neil has always encouraged me to push boundaries, to tackle what seemed impossible. In his spirit, I’ll be braving the cold February air with his name on my back, running each step for him and for everyone whose life has been impacted by cancer.
