For Phil
Last summer I lost my father to pancreatic cancer. Throughout his 18 month battle I was amazed by the advances in treatment when compared to my expectations of going through chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I was expecting horrific side effects and a low quality of life during treatment but that was far from the reality. The treatments gave my Dad precious time with his family and an opportunity to get to know his new grandkids before he passed. This is why I want to support Cancer Research to allow them to continue the amazing work they do.
Whilst Phil fought hard but ultimately didn't beat his cancer, I'm hoping my contribution will help others achieve a different result in the future.
