London Winter Run
In February 2024 I signed up to run in this 2025 London Winter Run (10km). Always trying to run it under 60 minutes. However, A lot has happened since February 2024.
About 5 months ago I was diagnosed with asbestosis which has greatly affected my running. No more 2:27mins half marathons!
Two weeks ago, I had an MRI scan on my lower back. Result shows a fracture to the T12 vertebrae. No wonder I had back pains! This also means no more running for maybe 4 – 6 months.
No problem, on Sunday 23rd February I will walk the London Winter Run, if I am able to!
As this is most likely my last running ‘race’ I have decided to raise some money for Cancer Research. Any donations, large or small, will be greatly appreciated.
I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2025 for Cancer Research UK.
