Cancer is relentess. But so are we. 

My winter run

I am running the Cancer Research 10k winter run on Sunday 23rd Feb. 

Over the last year my daughter Ellie’s best friend lost her dad, Norman Hyams, my brother in law underwent life changing surgery and right now my brilliant friend Rosie Spencer, pictured in my profile, is undergoing gruelling chemotherapy and navigating surgery she needs for breast cancer.  I will be running this race thinking of them and the incredible courage and strength in the face of cancer their families are showing every day in so many different ways. 

I run proudly in memory of the brilliant Norman Hyams, and for his beloved Sacha, Violet and Arlo.  For Rosie, Ben, Sunny, Kitty, Peggy and for Ian, Vicky and in memory of my beautiful mum.
