From Couch to 5K… to Somehow Attempting 10K! 🏃♂️💨
A few months ago, I couldn’t even run 2K without feeling like my lungs were filing a formal complaint. Now, I can just about manage 5K… so naturally, I’ve signed up for a 10K Winter Run this Sunday. Because why not double the challenge, right?
Running was never my thing, but I finally get why people love it. It’s freeing, a great way to de-stress, and—shockingly—I actually want to make this a new hobby! But this weekend, it’s about something much bigger. Cancer has impacted people I know, and this cause is incredibly important to me. I’m running to support life-saving cancer research and help fund treatments that change lives.
Now, there’s just one tiny problem… I’ll be running alongside the Mrs., who’s an actual runner. While she gracefully floats through the course, I’ll be somewhere between survival mode and questioning all my life choices. 😅
