Why Cancer Research Matters
Just over 18 years ago, my mother lost her battle with leukemia. My father became a widower aged 43, my sister was 15, and I was 13. We had spent the previous two years of our lives, since Mum received her diagnosis, visiting her on the fourth floor of Kettering General Hospital every day after school. It was a very strange time, and it is only with the distance that time has provided that I now realise how sad and lonely I was, unable to process the emotions and experience.I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2025.
Please donate to my page to help me raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK and support me as I train for a 10k on 23rd February 2025.
Nearly 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime*. All of us can support the research that will beat it.
Thank you for supporting me! Together we are beating cancer.

Good luck with the training co-cap. If you get lost on the day just follow me, I’ll be the guy far, far in front of you.
