As many of you know, I’m not a big fan of running.
It will, therefore, come as a surprise to absolutely nobody that I have decided to take part in the Cancer Research 10k Winter Run.
As many of you also know, I’m not a big fan of the cold.
It will, therefore, come as a surprise to absolutely nobody that I have decided to run said 10k in the depths of February.
The event is on 23/02/25, which means just 19 days to go… music to the ears of a man that has done little to no preparation or training.
Given that I am tackling the bitter, BITTER, winter cold to perform this small act of bravery/miracle, I figured I’d make it extra worthwhile by setting up an actual fundraising page!
My goal is to raise £175 – all of which will go directly to Cancer Research UK.
All jokes aside, it is a fantastic cause, so if you’re able to spare a couple of quid (or, you know, £174.99ish), I’d be beyond grateful.
Any donations will be hugely appreciated!
In return, I will be taking part in an immediate post-run video interview in which I personally compliment YOU whilst being horrendously out of breath.
