From Competitive Runner to Competitive Mum… and Back Again! 🏃♀️💨
Before becoming a mum, running was my thing. I’d lace up, hit the pavement, and clock in serious miles. Fast forward 10+ years, and while I haven’t raced in a while, I’ve been keeping fit in other ways—mainly chasing kids, school runs, work, and keeping the family running smoothly!
So when my husband (a newly converted runner! 😆) signed me up for the 10K Winter Run, my first thought was: Wait… what?! But now that I’m back into training, I’m absolutely loving the feeling of running again. The fresh air, the competition, and most importantly, the chance to support a cause close to my heart: cancer research.
Cancer has impacted people I love, and I’m running to help fund life-saving research and treatments. If you can, please donate—every bit counts and truly makes a difference!
And of course, I won’t be running alone—my husband will be right there beside me, taking on his first-ever 10K challenge. Let’s just say, we’re embracing this journey together! 😅
