London Winter Run Complete

Wow, what an amazing day!!

I entered with a 01:15:00 race time, as I had no idea how long it would take me, due to myself being a sprinter and only ever doing a maximum distance of 2k, but today I completed my first ever 10k run in a time of 01:00:06!!

I am absolutely over the moon with that time, but I wouldn’t of done it without all your support🤍

I am here!!

I have arrived in London to take part in the London winter run!! Thank you all so much for your donations to such an amazing cause.

The story behind why I'm running the London Winter Run

This February I will be running the London Winter 10k Run for Cancer Research, in memory of a very special man in my life, Mick Coleman, who sadly passed away with cancer in October 2023. For those who knew Mick would remember how charming, bubbly and caring he was to those close to and around him and always willing to help others. Everything that Mick did was appreciated by all, whether it was his work colleagues, friends, family and of course myself. Because of how much time and love Mick gave to those people, it is only fair that we give something back to an amazing charity to help others. Donating will enable Cancer Research to not only prevent, treat, and diagnose those with cancer, but also create long-term research projects with huge potential to help beat and cure cancer one day. 

Every tiny or large donation that is made will be going straight to Cancer Research and will not only be appreciated by myself, but also the charity, as every donation will help in some way. 

All your help and support to raise money for Cancer Research and to hit my target of £500 will be much appreciated. If we can go higher that would be amazing!!
