I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2025.
Please donate to my page to help me raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK and support me as I train for a 10k on 23rd February 2025. This will be my second year taking on the challenge.
In 2023, my partner was diagnosed with cancer. It was one hell of a year, with two surgeries, two months of chemo and 6 weeks in the hospital. But he is currently in remission. Every check up is scary, and we don't yet feel "out of the woods".
I want to do what I can to raise funds for Cancer Research UK so that fewer will have to face this in the future. Those of you who have known me since school will know that I was never a runner. But taking up running during this time provided me with an outlet to channel my energies into something positive.
Nearly 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime. But all of us can support the research that will beat it.
