Cancer is relentess. But so are we. 

A very personal Winter Run

On New Year's Eve of 2024, my Mum was diagnosed with what we now know to be non-Hodgkins lymphoma. This has come as quite a shock to us all, especially my Mum, and it's incredibly hard not being able to be with her at this time.

We're waiting for more tests to determine the severity of the cancer, which will then dictate the treatment plan moving forwards.

Working in the cancer sector, I know there is a crisis in the UK regarding cancer care and support. I also know that 1 in 2 of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime.

It's not until it hits close to home that those statistics really take hold, and I want to do everything I can to help Cancer Research UK with their vital work on deciphering this horrible disease and ultimately working out how to eradicate and consign it to the history books.

Please donate what you can to help me reach my fundraising target and encourage me to get out in the cold and brace myself for my first race post-Berlin marathon!
