Run with my father again

He taught me to laced my running shoes and run. 

This winter, I'm lacing up my running shoes for the Cancer Research Winter Run, but it’s not just about the race. It's deeply personal. I lost my father to cancer, a disease that took away not just his health, but his presence in my life. The pain of losing someone you love is indescribable, and it has sparked in me a commitment to make a difference in the fight against cancer.

By running, I’m raising awareness and funds for crucial cancer research—research that can bring hope to others facing the same challenges my family did. Every step I take is a tribute to my father, and a way to honor his memory while supporting the incredible work that’s being done to fight this devastating disease.

Cancer doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed; it touches entire families. That’s why I’m running—because I want to be part of the solution. I run for my father, for all those fighting cancer, and for a future where no one has to experience the loss I felt.

I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2025.
