Cancer is relentess. But so are we.

Firstly, thank you all so much for your generosity and support. It is truly humbling and gives huge motivation to get out there, put one foot in front of the other training for the event.

Training for me, Iain, has been somewhat of a challenge to hit the trails & road in addition to hitting the gym three times a week. But with two workout runs under my belt this week and three more to go this week; we’ll get there.

Ben however, is a gazelle and has maintained a steady state of running as part of his fitness. We hope to join up for a few weekend routes before the race.

To the event itself. If you’ve never been, think smaller London marathon vibe. Streets from Trafalagar to city and back are closed to traffic. There’s choirs, bands, supporters dressed as penguins, yeti, wolves, polar bears and thousands of supporters lining the streets. It is an amazing vibe and if you’re free, please do come down and enjoy the morning. Fingers crossed for good weather, usually cold, but has been dry and bright recent years.
