Cancer is relentess. But so are we.

Running for Neil

We said farewell to Neil Callen - whilst it was an incredibly sad day it was full of love and, as ever, he brought people together in a way only he could.

Neil was a people person, he was both interesting and always interested. He made me a better leader and our team a better place to work. He cared and he will be missed, dreadfully.

To echo words that were so beautifully and bravely articulated by his wife, Helen: 'Choose a place where you won't do harm - yes, choose a place where you won't do very much harm, and stand in it for all you are worth, facing the sunshine.'

I will be very proud to run with 30 others in Neil's name in February - there may even be a spot of sunshine.

I am taking on the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2025.

Please donate to my page to help me raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK and support me as I train for a 10k on 23rd February 2025.

Nearly 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime*. All of us can support the research that will beat it.

Thank you for supporting me! Together we are beating cancer.

Go Hayley and Team Neil! Such a lovely thing to do for a such positive colleague who really made working at Pearson feel like we were all one big family. Good luck with the run!
