Hi everyone,

I am running the London Winter run to raise funds for Cancer Research UK, and will be taking on the 10k on 23rd February 2025 with a team named Rachel's Angels. 

I am running with a great friend Rachel. It has now been 11 years since Rachel was first diagnosed with Cancer. 

I first met Rachel when I was at prep school and she was my headmasters wife and have now recently come back into contact with the Wards through my girlfriend. We’re all at school together at Eastbourne College. 

As you can imagine, the journey has had its ups and downs; there have been some very difficult times along the way and only this year her cancer came back requiring yet another operation.

They also found out that she carries the BRCA2 gene meaning there is yet more surgery to come.
